    "Carved stone post by the A66 (by-pass), in parish of WYCLIFFE WITH THORPE (TEESDALE District), 30m South East of Thorpe Grange Farm (southbound carriageway), on grass verge against wall, on North side of road. Greta Bridge stone, erected by the Middleton-Tyas Lane to Greta Bridge & Bowes turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : CATTERICK / BRIDGE / 13 : : GRETA / BRIDGE / 1 : Grade II Listed.
