    Tales from the Supply Depot, 15 July 2018. ".....Some research has allowed me to identify this memorial as one that stands in the gardens of the Cartmel Grange Nursing Home in Grange over Sands and it is made of cast concrete. Presumably this material was chosen because it was a cheaper option that having a cast metal or a carved stone memorial. The memorial originally stood in front of the nursing home that had been built as a convalescent home for members of the Club and Institutes Union. Until recently however he stood in another part of the grounds..."
