By the side of the door a board advertises 'Light Refreshments, Teas • High Teas • Woodware and Pottery.' The Minstrels' Gallery (formerly listed as Crown Mitre Cottage) is a Grade 2 listed building. (See British Listed Buildings web page: http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-76863-the-minstrels-gallery-hawkshead ) To the left of the photograph is the entrance porch to Hawkshead Methodist Church.
