The Parish of Satterthwaite in South Lakeland is one of 269 civil parishes in Cumbria, England. From Coniston Water in the west to Windermere in the east, it covers an area of 2961 hectares (11.43 square miles), including a large part of the Forestry Commission's Grizedale Forest Park. The principal neighbourhoods within the Parish are: Satterthwaite, the main village; Grizedale, including the Grizedale Forest Park Visitor Centre; Force Mills; Force Forge; Dale Park, including the settlements of High, Middle and Low Dale Park; Low Cunsey and Graythwaite.....
