Description
Wolsington House is a former pub on Burdon Main Row near Smith's Dock, North Shields. It was built in 1902, designed by North Shields architect John Spencer, for the Tynemouth innkeeper A. N. Dodds to cater for the expanding port of North Shields. It is on North Tyneside's Register of Buildings and Parks of Local Architectural and Historic Interest. This notes that there has been a licensed house on this site since at least 1834. -
