Victorian school, refurbished in mid 1980s. Richardson Dees School was opened on 24th February 1902 by the Mayor of Wallsend, Alderman William Boyd. B.J. Simpson of Newcastle designed the building. Contractor was W.T. Weir of Howdon. The school became a middle school in 1969....
