CROZIER LODGE, CUMBERLAND INFIRMARY - List Entry

    House, now doctors' residence for hospital. 1820s with early C20 alterations. Calciferous sandstone ashlar on chamfered plinth, with sill band, cornice and solid parapet. Greenslate mansard roof; ashlar end chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with lower single-bay flanking wings. Central panelled door and patterned radial fanlight, up steps, in pilastered open-pedimented doorcase. Sash windows with glazing bars in stone reveals. Three C20 boxed casement dormers. Wings have Venetian windows....Not to be confused with Crozier Lodge on Clift Street which is C20....
