1 & 3 Castle Street, Carlisle

  • Description

"No.1 on the corner was built in the mid 1890s for WM Hill and Sons, painters, decorators and glaziers. It retains its original shop front with leaded lights which acted as an advert for the glazing element of the business. No.3 to the right dates from the 1840s. Both are Listed Grade II.
