    "This Grade I listed Jacobean house was originally home to Isaac Tullie and his family. It was saved from dereliction by Carlisle Corporation and extended to form a new municipal museum for the city, opening in 1893. Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery, still housed in this building became an independent charitable trust 2011. The Morning Room on the ground floor of the house is licensed for civil weddings."
