The George and Dragon, Dent
-
Description
"The 19th Century inn on a prominent corner site is Grade-II listed: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1383990 . The signs above the windows advertise the products of the local Dent brewery, located a few km to the east: https://www.dentbrewery.co.uk/ . Unfortunately, we didn't have time to sample them on our visit. Note the cobbled streets in the centre of the village and the old road sign with two routes to Ingleton; the challenging road over the fells saves 10 miles compared to the longer route."
