Description
"The northern side of [[4407844]]. Built c 1837 by John and Benjamin Green for Richard Grainger. At the far end, the decorative treatment of the Grey Street face of the theatre continues round onto the wing, followed by a plain section with two almost central Tuscan pilasters, a grand pavilion of five square columns (a bank) a plain section again, and finally a wing with Tuscan pilasters and decorated windows at on the first floor to match the Pilgrim Street face. This is the only example in Grainger Town of the use of giant square, rather than round, columns.
