GV Southward running with the ball, he touches down for Workington's first try. CU Small boy cheering. GV Southward taking the conversion kick. GV Crowds cheering. Score Wigan Nil Workington 5. SV O'Grady with the ball he holds off a Workington player and passes to Cunliffe, he runs on with the ball and Cunliffe passes to Boston who is running to touch line, he is challenged and he passes to Sullivan who goes over for a try. CU Woman cheering. LV Cunliffe taking the conversion kick. GV Crowds cheering. Score Wigan 5 Workington 5. GV Thomas trying to run through but is brought down by McAvoy but manages to pass to Barton and goes over for a try. CU Girl. GV Cunliffe taking the conversion kick. GV Crowds cheering. Score Wigan 10 Workington 5. GV Southward taking a penalty kick for Workington. CU Men sitting on bench, they jump up in glee and one falls to the ground. GV Crowds. Half time score Wigan 10 and Workington 7. GV Wigan attacking, ball is passed to McGurrin, he runs towards the line. SV McGurrin with the ball, he dodges to Workington player but he is brought down by Thompson and Eden. CU Girl in crowd eating. GV Wigan attacking in the far corner and McTigue goes over for a try. SV Crowd cheering. GV Workington attacking the ball is passed to Key who passes onto Eden, he tries to break through but is brought down by Cunliffe. CU Small boys in crowd. GV Southward taking the penalty. Score Wigan 13 Workington 9. GV Workington attacking Southward runs through. SV Southward nearing the touchline but he is tackled and he loses the ball and it runs into touch. GV Crowds. GV Ashton, Wigan captain going up to receive the cup from the American Ambassador, Mr Whitney. SV Ashton receiving the cup from Mr Whitney. CU Solemn looking man.
