Grecian Villa, Crown Street, Cockermouth

  • Description

"This house, built c.1830, was rated by Nikolaus Pevsner as one of the two best in the town. The appearance is now rather spoilt by the expanse of tarmac car-park in front of it. The Christ Church (built in 1865) is in the background." Photo by Humphrey Bolton, 2004.
