Farm Building, Glororum

  • Description

"Amazingly, there are two places in Northumberland with this strangely beautiful name. Both are Farm Settlements but the one near Bamburgh is more famous as the sight of a large Caravan Park. This one has some very interesting early 19th century farm buildings which now look as if they have been converted into holiday homes. The name is apparently a corruption of "Glower-o'er-him" according to GENUKI." Photo by Alan Fearon, 2005.
