    "Nos. 42-46 consecutive (Church Square Chambers).... Commercial building, c. 1850. Red brick with sandstone ashlar quoins and dressings; slated roof. 3 storeys, 6 bays. Entablature door surrounds, with moulded and modillioned cornices, in end bays, the right now holding a window. Roll-moulded plinth; ground-floor cornice and tall blocking course. Round-arched, hollow-chamfered ground and first-floor windows with rusticated alternating jambs and voussoirs, those on first floor with triple keystone and inner dripmould...."
