Greenhead House

  • Description

"This was formerly the Red Lion Inn. Built in the C18 and enlarged in the C19, it once stood on the main drove road down from Scotland. This later became the A68 trunk road, but was given a new line to the west, as can be seen on the map." Photo by Robert Graham, 2016.
