The Gravestone Paths

  • Description

"The path situated at the back of the former Domestos works and close to the Ouseburn School, created in the 1930s. About 200 headstones from the Bellast Hills burial ground (known locally as plaguey fields) were used, dating from the 17th century until 1853." Photo by peter maddison, 2010.
