    "....Farmhouse with attached cottage to north and farmbuilding range to east, linking it with eastern house; garden wall attached to east of eastern house. Late C18 except for cottage extension mid C19. Rubble, with cut quoins and dressings; part rendered; farmbuilding brick-lined; wall brick with stone plinth and coping. Purple slate roof with stone copings and brick stacks. Plan: originally a single near-symmetrical composition, but farmhouse extended to north and cottage added to form L-shape. Long south front has 3-storey 1-bay ends and 2-storey centre,..."
