-
Description
"The village of Seaton lies just to the west of Seaham close to the North Sea coast of Durham, close to the modern A19. A number of finds of Roman date have been found close to the small farm at Slingley Hill. Coins and a brooch have been discovered in the 20th century. It may have been the site of a Roman settlement, or even a temple....." -
