    Chronicle Live, 15th September 2015. ".....Now, following a lengthy social media campaign which drew worldwide support, a memorial to the duo has been sited at their former home. A sheepdog breeder and dog credited with revolutionising shepherding have been immortalised at their former home in Northumberland..... The campaign was started by Simon Falla, from Chapel House, who had taken in a couple of rescue border collie dogs. It was during his research into the breed that Mr Falla discovered Telfer’s incredible history and learned of how he bred the ‘perfect sheepdog’; from which came the famous border collie....."
