WEST WOODBURN BRIDGE - List Entry

    "Bridge. Early C19. Ashlar. 2 broad segmental arches framed by arch bands. Further band at base of parapet. Triangular cutwater with chamfered plinth is broached and rises to parapet to form canted refuges. Abutments and parapet are also canted outwards at each end. Parapet, with chamfered coping stones, ends in piers with shallow pyramidal caps. Reconstructed, using original materials, in 1957...."
