    "House, formerly school and schoolmaster's house, 1843. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof. L-plan. Tudor style. 2 bays. Cross-gabled former schoolroom projecting to left is one tall storey; house to right is 1½ storeys. Canted, corniced porch in re-entrant angle has 2-leaf C20 panelled door. To left large 3-light mullioned-and-transomed window under hoodmould. To right a 2-light mullioned window with hoodmould on the ground floor and 2-light window in gabled half dormer above. Gabled roof with kneelers and ridged coping. Ball finials on schoolroom...."
