  • Description

Town Hall Theatre, Hartlepool. Much of the main bank of seats is retractable. There is a 3 manual, 24 stop, J J Binns organ, installed in 1926 at the rear of the stage. Dating from 1897 and designed by H A Cheers, the building was converted - in some style - to a theatre. Seats 406, equipped for stage and film use, although the opening of a cinema has all but stopped film presentations. Hartlepool, Co.
