    "Public house, formerly coaching inn. c.1840. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof. L-plan. 2-storey, 4-bay facade has 3-bay section to left and 1-bay slightly-projecting pedimented gabled bay on right. Flush-panelled door in solid stone corniced porch with Tuscan pilasters in 3rd bay. 12-pane sash windows. Gabled roof with paired diagonally-set, rendered-brick ridge and end stacks....."
