    "Gate piers, quadrant walls, gates and overthrow. Probably c.1853 by G. Pickering. Coursed squared sandstone walls, with ashlar quoins, coping and piers; wrought iron gates and overthrow. Short walls have quoins at junction with rubble continuation. Octagonal piers have plinths, cornices and swept high pointed coping. Elliptical overthrow has wide spirals resting on piers, and top square lamp-holder...."
