    "This building on the north east corner of the busy cross-roads completed Richard Grainger's Grey Street in 1842, designed by John Dobson. It was probably built on the remains of an earlier building which might account for its low height compared to the neighbouring properties. It has now been refurbished as the Grey Street Hotel."
