    "Ruined chapel. c1300. Red ashlar sandstone, no roof. Single vessel, 5x1 bays. Plinth. Moulded string course, at impost of round-arched south door, continues to right across buttresses between former 3-light windows with pointed cusped arches, geometrical tracery removed. Bay 4 occupied by broad gabled projection (rear of sedilia)....Situated outside the abbey precinct and used by dependents of the monastery and others who did not normally worship in the abbey church (qv). Adjoining archways listed separately..."
