Description
"C17 and early C18, of several builds. Small hand-made brick mostly now rendered with steeply-pitched pantiled roofs, old brick chimneys dotted along the ridge. Double span, the northern span shorter with a pent shelter in the angle. Modern casement windows. A through-purlin roof is visible in the eastern part. Internal refurbishing in earlyC19 shown by graceful staircase, elliptical arch on fluted pilasters over passage with small modillion cornice, other plaster cornices and an arched, panelled cupboard. Blank section to west in use as an outbuilding...." -
