    "One of a dozen or so headstones marking thoses who fought in WW1 & never returned home. Most are from the Yorkshire Regiment (which is logical) but this chap belonged to the South Staffs Regiment. The Porrits were a local family, from Lingdale." Photo by Matthew Hatton, 2014.
