Angerton Station

  • Description

"This station was on the Morpeth to Redesmouth Line and was opened on 23rd July 1862 and closed to passengers on 15th September 1952 and to goods on 11th November 1963. It is now a private house and has a recent extension built onto its side. The platform can still be seen but is difficult to photograph." Photo by Les Hull, 2005.
