    "....Alnmouth Rowing is a community venture, with 2 boats built by members of the community, and housed in a historic old LifeBoatHouse on the beach, right beside the seaside. In the 2015 season we launched our first skiff ‘Pride of Aln’, and we gained a new home on the beach. Over 500 people took part in more than 100 launches before the season ended. Since then we have attracted more members and widened the number and scope of rowing events available. In May 2019 after 1600 building hours – 150 people attended the launch of our second skiff ‘Enflaeda’. Today a typical week sees 9 launches over 4 days with 45 people rowing..."

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria. Co-Curate is a trans-disciplinary project that will open up 'official' museum and 'un-officia'l co-created community-based collections and archives through innovative collaborative approaches using social media and open archives/data.
