    "Part of Holmside Hall, now calf shed, and wall attached. Late medieval with alterations. Thinly rendered sandstone rubble with quoins and ashlar dressings; roof of corrugated asbestos. L-plan; probably the north range of former courtyard, with gateway on west. One storey, 3 bays. Bank entry to bays 4, 5, 6 and 7, with boarded doors at outer end of bank, the left in chamfered round- headed stone surround, the right in ogee-chamfered Tudor-arched surround. 4 small square openings with chamfered stone jambs under stone lintels..."
