The Old Weigh House and Market Cross, Swinemarket

  • Description

"I’m not sure whether it was the swine (pigs) that were weighed here, or other goods. The building is grade II listed (list entry 1157985), as is the market cross in the foreground (1145765). The cross was relocated here in 1822 and the ball added. " Photo by Stephen Craven, 2020.
