Norman window in Pendragon Castle

  • Description

"Pendragon Castle in the Eden Valley in Cumbria has a wonderful setting and the remains of a Norman keep. Legend has it that the original castle was built by Uther Pendragon, King Arthur's father. This is on the west side and the window frame seen here is clearly Norman." Photo by Marathon, 2018.
