The ruins of Pendragon Castle

  • Description

"Pendragon Castle in the Eden Valley in Cumbria has a wonderful setting and the remains of a Norman keep. Legend has it that the original castle was built by Uther Pendragon, King Arthur's father. This is the west side. The window frame at the bottom is clearly Norman." Photo by Marathon, 2018.
