    "Built 1895, by J W Taylor for G C Barker. A late 19th C building in the classical style, with giant fluted columns, balustrades, decorative dormers, carved scroll pediments, keystones, and a corner dome. Mr Barker's initials and the date appear in the two medallions on the second floor above the entrance.
