"This video is a heartfelt plea from staff, members, volunteers and committee of Shildon Railway Institute for support from the community to stop the Institute from going bust on account of coronavirus restrictions. Everyone has worked so hard to keep going and serving our community but right now we're down to coppers and the bills keep coming. You can help - you can donate if you are able, or you can share our message. It was the first Railway Mechnics Institute in the world. Please don't let the Stute be another victim of the coronavirus...." -
