"House. 1848 by John Dobson for the Newcastle and Gateshead Water Co. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof. Castellated, octagonal, 2-storey tower with lower 2- storey wing of 3 irregular bays attached to left. Gabled porch with fleur de lys finial,ridged coping, kneelers and Tudor-arched doorway in right bay of wing....."
