  • Description

West Cumbria and Coast. St Bridget's Church, Moresby on the cliffs between Parton and Lowca, dating from 1822 and with a chancel added in 1885. It is on the site of an earlier church, whose 13th century chancel arch stands in the grounds to the south. It is thought that this was on the site of a Roman fort.
