Painted stucco on chamfered plinth with raised painted quoins; string course, moulded cornice and parapet with triangular pediment and semi-circular antefixae; graduated greenslate roof, brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays....Marked on Hodgskinson & Donald's map of Cumberland, surveyed 1770, as house of Joseph Liddle...."
