Hepple Tower
-
Description
"Hepple Tower is a 14th century tower house. It is almost rectangular and has thick sandstone wall. An early 19th century farm building, now a holiday cottage has been built onto the western side. It is not clear if when it was built it was a solitary tower or stood next to another building. Although some early records describe the tower as being part of a larger building there is now no clear evidence of it..." -
