    Stone laid by Ray Mallon, Mayor of Middlesbrough on behalf of Jack Hatfield's family, erected on the route of the Olympic Torch Relay London Olympic Games 17th June 2012, Centre Square, Middlesbrough. Jack Hatfield World Record Holder, triple Olympic medalist, Stockhom 1912 400 metres freestyle; 1,500 metres freestyle; 4 x 200 metres freestyle relay team. (Swimming).
