The eyes have it

Description
"Silvas Capitalis or Forest Head is a very recent addition to the Kielder Arts and Architecture program. Create by SIMPARCH, a group of artists based near Chicago, it reminds us of the much more intimate relationship earlier inhabitants had with this remote, rugged landscape. The head also acts as a very welcome shelter along an otherwise inhospitable length of the shoreline of Kielder Water. Whilst there you can pop upstairs and experience the surroundings through his eyes or ears." Photo by Oliver Dixon, 2009. -
