    "Large farmhouse. Dated 1697, above front doorway, with later alterations. Limestone rubble, renewed Welsh slate roofs and rebuilt brick stacks. T-plan with central stair wing to rear. 3-storey front has scattered fenestration and gabled wing to left which projects to front and rear. Central doorway, in C20 glazed gabled porch, has date 1697 and initials RIB (now hidden by panelling). Small oval window, in moulded rectangular surround, above porch...."
