Ulverston Pubs

  • Description

Walking through Ulverston the next morning I went past two contrasting pubs. One – the Bird in Hand – still proclaims its a Hartley's pub, where as the Union has lost any Hartley's branding it presumably once had and now feature the signage of a recently rebranded Robinsons. Both are very close to the site of the old Hartley's Brewery, and I pondered where Hartley's had their brewery tap, and whether it was one of these.
