    "Parish Church now in ruins, within churchyard of present parish church. C12 with late C15 or early C16 alterations, made into ruin in late C19. Mixed calciferous and red sandstone blocks. Only the ruins of 3 chancel walls remain.....A fire in the mid C19 necessitated the building of the present church...."
