Ford at Stainton

  • Description

"Across Stainton Beck. Comparison with older photos ([[4644364]] & [[104982]]) shows that the road surface has disappeared, and it appears that the ford is no longer used. It was probably washed away at the same time as the canal aqueduct was damaged (see [[5243442]])." Photo by Ian Taylor, 2017.
