Wallridge Deserted Medieval Village (Belsay)
-
Description
"Apart from a few modern additions Wallridge consists of a single farm. There are some outbuildings nearby which was probably the site of an earlier farm. There are also traces of another settlement to the north-west. This suggests the village was made up of several widely-spread farms, rather than a focused village...." -
