Description
"Ponsonby Church (no dedication) - II Church. Probably medieval, with heavy restoration. 1840 and 1874. Stone rubble with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Single vessel nave and chancel west tower and north vestry. Coped gables with crosses. South elevation of 5 bays; 2-bay nave has paired lancets; gabled buttress between nave and chancel, which has 2-light flat-faced mullioned window and 2 small lancets, wall incorporates head of straight-headed light, part of arch, and part of medieval grave slab....." -
