Church of St Michael, Skelton
-
Description
"The church was built in 1794, incorporating the 14th century tower which survived from a previous church on the site. Some restoration work was carried out in the late 19th century, including the addition of an entrance porch (for more information see Carlisle Diocese website https://www.carlislediocese.org.uk/church/skelton-st-michael.html ). St. Michael's Church is a Grade II listed building - see Historic England for details https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1210931 ." Photo by Rose and Trev Clough, 2018. -
